As a candidate for our local council, I bring a wealth of experience in governance and fiscal

management, combined with an unwavering passion for our community. With a solid track record in

overseeing complex projects and implementing strategic policies, I am committed to ensuring that our

local government operates with transparency, efficiency, and accountability. My experience in fiscal

management has equipped me with the skills necessary to make informed, responsible decisions

about our community's resources. I believe in maximizing the value of every taxpayer dollar and

ensuring that our budget reflects the priorities and needs of our residents. By applying prudent

financial strategies and seeking innovative solutions, I am dedicated to fostering sustainable growth

and enhancing the quality of life for everyone in our area. What truly drives me is my deep

connection to our community. I am not only familiar with our local challenges but also deeply invested

in celebrating our successes and addressing our concerns. I am committed to listening to your voices,

understanding your needs, and working tirelessly to make our community an even better place to live.

If elected I would advocate for:

1. Transparency in governance by ensuring that council provides clear and accessible information

about council activities, decision-making processes, budgets and keeping communications open

and honest. Sound governance ensures that conflicts of interests and declared and risk of bias

eliminated. I will ensure that Casey Council will never be stood down for corruption again!

2. Strong fiscal policy - as a senior leader in the accounting profession, one of my goals is to ensure

that Casey City Council budgets responsibly and has sound financial management practices

operating within its means by effectively, economically and efficiently allocating resources to

reduce the burden of unnecessary rate hikes on residents. I would also advocate for investment

in projects that benefit the community and promote long term sustainability and growth.

3. Community safety - 0ur neighbourhoods have become target for theft and burglaries. One of my

priorities is to build a safer community by promoting increased law enforcement patrols, sharing

safety tips, and encouraging neighbours to look out for each other through schemes such as

Neighbourhood Watch. Overgrown gum trees on our streets pose a grave danger to our

properties and to life – I will advocate for removal of these and replacement with safer options.

Together, we want everyone to feel secure and connected!

4. Cleanliness and Environmental Stewardship by ensuring that council routinely monitor the

cleanliness of public spaces including regular maintenance and litter reduction and encouraging

community participation in taking care of our environment. Derelict, long term uncompleted and

unkempt properties will have to be assessed and put to better use. The aesthetic of city where

we live is important to me and I am proud of my neighbourhood and city. I would like Casey to

known for being pristine, pleasant and vibrant!

5. Infrastructure Development - I would advocate for council to prioritise and invest in projects

that deliver critical infrastructure such as our local roads and footpaths, increase public

transportation and provision of recreational facilities and for families, young adults and children.

6. Community engagement – by promoting open lines of communications and consultations

between council and the community so community voices can be heard and considered when

making decisions.
